hiatus

Hello out there (does anyone actually read this blog?)...I've had some difficult things happen in my life in the last few weeks and I can't work on any art-related things for the time being. Thanks for stopping by and with any luck I'll be able to work again soon. D

in June

These little abstractions...most of them I'll use for underpaintings, but a few I'll leave because I find myself wanting to look closely at them. They remind me of so many things, one of which is the Krylon paintings I used to do for Tower Records displays. It's interesting how random color can suggest things like depth, light, objects. This one is 6" x 6" oil on board.
